Recently we recommended the Parasio De La Bonita to a honeymoon couple looking for an intimate resort.

This property is located in the Rivera Maya section of Cancun and Michael and Shannon (our honeymoon couple) could not have been more pleased. They told us that it was exactly what they envisioned for their honeymoon, a small, intimate resort with lots of pampering. When they arrived in their room they were greeted with a bottle of champagne and some special treats from the chef. Michael is the owner of a popular restaurant in Massachusetts, so there is no fooling this foodie when it comes to quality dining. And to our delight, he could not stop raving about the food and service at the hotel.

Little side note for everyone, we priced the package for our honeymoon couple and they came back to us saying they found a slightly less expensive price on the web for the same location and hotel. We were surprised ourselves, but our objective is to be sure our clients are happy so we gladly told them to go ahead and book it with the travel site. Well wouldn’t you know it, a few days later we found out when Shannon called us that the site could not confirm some of the things that were essential to the couple for their honeymoon. They wanted to be sure they would have a king bed and a non smoking room on the 2nd floor. The website could request it but not guarantee it. We called Travel Impressions and they called the hotel directly to confirm the non smoking king bed on the 2nd floor. The honeymoon started right, right from the planning stage, as it should.
